Katey Street, from England but living in Sydney! I'm a teacher by trade and missing the classroom, so I created Cold Coffee, No Gluesticks to give voice to teachers and raise awareness about the thinking behind what happens in our schools.

I missed the incidental conversations about teaching and learning that you get when working in a school. Education is my passion and teachers are some of the most interesting people you'll ever meet.

It's so easy. It's like block coding. You just pop everything in, there's an in-built editing tool and it was so easy to use right off the bat. I wouldn't describe myself as a tech novice or anything, but I needed something that was going to be quick and easy to use.

Teachers get a lot of blame in mainstream media and are often dismissed even though they are some of the most highly skilled, flexible and creative professionals out there. Cold Coffee, No Gluesticks aims to give teachers a platform to talk about their beliefs and values as educators, tell stories from their experiences, share ideas or even clap back at policy makers!
