As a busy counsellor, writer and storyteller, Johnzelle wanted a quick, non-technical way to get his word out there while sounding great. Fed up with EQ sliders in GarageBand, Johnzelle decided to give Alitu a go and hasn't looked back since.

Now he quickly edits out mistakes on the 2x speed setting and leaves the audio clean-up and EQ sliders to Alitu. All that allows him to focus on the mission: create a safe space online for people of colour to engage in topics around mental health and well-being.

With the busy workload of a practicing anaesthesiologist and a strong conviction to spread the message of her professional field for an underrepresented community Elisha took to Alitu to launch her show Sevo Sistas.

Mentioning her need for efficiency, Elisha said, "I don't have time to sit and try to learn [a new software] to edit and cut out mistakes... I need something simple and straightforward. With Alitu, I can directly record in the software and then I can subsequently edit."

Coming from a creative background with a bit of tech knowledge Dan managed to harness Audacity and its powerful quirks to edit his podcast before switching to Alitu.

Now on Alitu, Dan has significantly reduced his editing time to more than half of what it was before. He says the introduction of transcripts feature allowed him to make his episodes more accessible and searchable online.

Daunted by the tech side and with very little time, Alitu made the editing easy and intuitive so Eadaoin could focus on creating, and most importantly starting.

Alitu's drag and drop, time saving and easy editing features, for someone with limited time and on multiple career tracks, it has helped me to get my podcast up and running.

Dr Deb has found that Alitu takes the stress out of producing her podcast and loves how easy it is to drag and drop all her components.

Being fed up with free and paid software out there, Joanna moved her podcast to Alitu for reliability (she has amazing guests), editing speed (she's a busy author too) and worry-free production (she's not an audio-engineer).

All this allows her to focus on talking and connecting with amazing authors more and giving back to the community – things that got her into podcasting in the first place.

Being a busy author and a motivational speaker, Dr Monica Anderson first discovered Alitu through an online podcasting community and instantly found it to be a time saver. Inspired partly by her parents and being an avid podcast listener herself, Deva decided to create a podcast about all the brave women out there – a space for women to talk about and reflect on their own experiences.

She uses Alitu to record her calls and then seamlessly edits out the dead air and mistakes from her show. All in one place. This helps her focus on what's truly important – getting her word out there and connecting with the brave voices of women.

Alitu helps chuck skip the DAWs and cut the time it takes to ship his shop

Casey, along with his partner Bethany, have started their podcast during the pandemic. They both quickly fell in love with the medium and now, thanks in part to Alitu, are able to regularly put out quality episodes packed with insightful expert interviews around nutrition and dieting.

They are sometimes forced to record their interviews on an iPhone and, even in windy environments, have found Alitu doing a marvellous job at cleaning up the audio, levelling the volume and making them sound great.

They have been podcasting since October 2020, have created over 400 episodes and thanks to Alitu’s episode builder are able to produce an episode in around 20 minutes. We are really glad to have them on board and are very proud we can play a small part in enabling them to share their passion with the world.
